Shipping Policy

Seeds are shipped year-round, while flower bulbs & roots are shipped on a seasonal basis by zone. Check your zone here.

How We Ship

Handling Time: We prepare and ship your seed-only orders within 4-6 business days.

Note: Due to worldwide supply chain issues our bulbs are taking longer to ship out than expected. Rest assured that we are shipping all orders out just as quickly as possible!

Shipping Method

Standard shipping for both seeds and bulbs is through the US Postal Service. 

Orders of larger weight and/or volume will be shipped via FedEX. If your address requires a specific method of shipment, please include a note in Step 4 (Finalize Order) at checkout. 

All orders will receive an email confirmation of shipping once they leave our warehouse. This confirmation will include a tracking number which will confirm the method of shipment and provide an estimated date of delivery.

Shipping Schedule

Seeds: Ship Year-Round to Zones 2-12

Pre-ordered Bulbs: Pre-orders will not ship immediately, but they will be delivered at the ideal time for planting in your area. Spring pre-orders are placed any time before March 1. Fall pre-orders are placed any time before September 1. For customers who order bulbs in advance, please see the shipping schedule below. Orders containing both seeds and bulbs may be split into multiple shipments.

Multiple Ship Dates

Your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your order at the time your order is submitted, regardless of the shipping time for your items. If your order requires multiple shipping dates, you will never be charged more than once for shipping charges. This allows us to ship your non-seasonal items to you as soon as possible, as well as allocate our seasonal product for your order.

For example, a customer places an order in February consisting of 5 Pounds of Wildflower Mix and 50 Darwin Hybrid Tulip Bulbs. The order would be charged in full upon submission, the seed would be shipped immediately, and the bulbs would be shipped at the optimal time in the autumn based on the customer's zip code.

Missing/Lost Packages

For all questions regarding the whereabouts of a package once it's on the way, please first review the tracking information to check the status provided by the carrier, then contact the appropriate shipping carrier with additional questions (either USPS or FedEx for larger orders).

Sometimes a tracking number may reflect incorrect information or does not show updates reflecting movement of the package. After seven (7) days, a Missing Mail Search Request can be submitted to the Shipping Carrier by the recipient.

The USPS is currently experiencing many delays related to COVID-19 and lack of staffing. If the tracking information for your package does not show any movement for fourteen (14) business days, we are happy to work with you directly on a resolution for either 1) a store credit to be used on any future purchase for the price paid for the missing package, or 2) a refund for the full amount of the of the order. More often than not, packages are either accidentally delivered to a neighboring address, or the item ends up delivered after a slight delay. In the meantime, it is recommended to check with neighbors and/or contact the carrier with your tracking number to see if they can provide any additional information regarding your package.

Foreign Destinations

We do not ship any of our products to locations outside of the United States. The myriad of governmental regulations pertaining to shipping horticultural products abroad simply do not permit us to process foreign orders at this time.

Expedited Shipping

Eden Brothers does not offer expedited shipping at this time.

We try our utmost to maintain reliable inventory of all products, and are very proud of our record in doing so. However, as we are a company engaged in what Mother Nature provides, we sometimes experience shortages, delays, and/or crop failures beyond our control. If, for any reason, we are required to backorder any portion of your order, rest assured we will keep you apprised of updated shipping
